RAVAGE Parts Ways With Bassist, Seeks Replacement
January 11, 2007RAVAGE, the heavy metal band from Boston, Massachusetts, has parted ways with bassist Howie Snow. "Howie left the band of his own accord, citing, among other things, 'musical differences,'" the rest of the group writes in a statement. "Although the members of the band are suprised and saddened by his decision, we respect his choice and we are moving on full steam ahead with our plans for the New Year. We'll be using a fill-in bassist until a suitable replacement can be found."
As previously reported, RAVAGE been added to the bill in support of '80s classic metal icons METAL CHURCH and MELIAH RAGE at their appearance on January 27 at Mark's Showplace in Bedford, NH. Advance tickets can be purchased by contacting [email protected].
RAVAGE is currently at work on the band's second album, "Damn Nation", slated for release some time early this year. The band's "Spectral Rider" CD was released through Karthago Records in October of 2005.
